For Employees

Services are available to employees of contracted companies, their dependents and/or employee household members. The cost is fully covered by your employer. At HelpNet, you can be assured that your counselor will be a master's level, fully credentialed therapist with multiple years of experience. He or she will:

  • Listen fully without judgement

  • Help you find solutions

  • Encourage your progress

  • Protect your confidentiality

Prior to meeting with the EAP counselor, you will be asked to complete some intial paperwork.  The paperwork provides the therapist with useful background information to facilitate his or her work with you. When you meet with the counselor, he or she will conduct an Assessment to identify and evaluate your presenting issues. The counselor will work with you to determine if it is an issue that might benefit from Short-Term Counseling through the EAP, or rather, if a specialized referral would be more appropriate. In the event a referral beyond the EAP is the preferred option, your EAP counselor will work with you to find a good match in consideration of your needs and/or insurance coverage. People talk to HelpNet counselors for many different reasons. Here are some examples:

  • Relationship Problems

  • Depression

  • Parenting Issues

  • Addictions

  • Stress

  • Grief

  • Anxiety

  • Trauma

  • Difficult Transitions
